ometimes coming in second is more fun. My friend Kelly, let me shoot backup at one of her weddings this past Sunday. Second Shooter has time to look for the creative shots...the ones the main photographer doesn't always have time to look for because they are out front, in the stress of it all and incredibly busy. One day I will need to take first...but for now, I'm perfectly happy with second.
Theirs was a simple but lovely ceremony that took place outdoors by the river. Age-old trees flanked the front isle with craggy limbs that seemed to oversee the proceedings. This particular couple was amazing....so in love and so comfortable in front of our cameras. Anything we suggested to them they were game for, including strolling down a dirt path to the river's edge. It's not every bride that will trash the bottom of her dress, and stand in the cold to make sure you capture that magical amber glow of a setting sun.
Here are few of my results. (see more images under 'Galleries-Wedding-Reagan & Michael' at top.
