While Lindsae is catching up on her beauty sleep from the Senior trip...I thought I would download photos from her camera (will post them tomorrow) and show a little of what I did yesterday...
Headed up to Williamsburg in the wind and rain yesterday to photographer friend Kelly's house to learn a little about indoor lighting and to team shoot this 15 year old beauty. She has the most gorgeous eyes and was quite the sport as we played around with various backgrounds, lighting and moods. I am a 'natural light' girl, and shot these with my 50mm 1.8, however it was so interesting to see Kelly's set up and how she bounces light. While I will probably always love shooting without flash...realistically, there are times when you may need it...and so my goal is to observe how others use it effectively. Can I just say that I have so much to learn? sure is fun though!
Oh and the color of Kelly's walls are total eye candy...had so much fun using them as our backdrops.
Then we had a break in the storm for about an hour...and so we took our cameras and K over to the downtown historical area or a few outdoor shots before the wind and rain nailed us. All in all, it was a super day...and fun to chat/learn from a photographer that has been doing this for a long long time. What a good friend huh?
