Senioritis...I know this term generally refers to and about seniors...however I'm here to tell you it happens to mommas too! Not in the way you would think though. For me...it's more like the struggle of hearing a giant time clock ticking somewhere in my head letting me know the days are counting down.

For eample:
there is just one more day till she leaves for her Senior Trip to New York.
there are only 3 more months till graduation, her party, and our big family vacation to celebrate.
there are decisions to be made soon whether she will attend Liberty (where she's been accepted) or attend one year local and then attend MICA (an art school in Maryland).

yep...that clock is ticking allright...and as excited as I am for her...there are days when I just want to hit the snooze button.
