Around here, nothing is more enjoyable than attending a wedding on the beach in May! How fun is it to feel the warm sun on your shoulders, witness the Bride and Groom exchange vows, and dig sand with your toes? ;) And speaking of fun, I remember the moment Grant and I met Nicole and Jon in our studio. Nicole began the meeting by apologizing profusely for the fact that several other family members would be ‘stopping by.’ It seemed they all wanted to meet us, and while she was a tad embarrassed, we thought it was smart. After all, what a great way to solidify our bond with the family too!
Through the course of that meeting, we laughed, listened to Grant and Jon talk baseball and food, and witnessed an incredibly fun and passionate family show us who they really are. Weddings truly are family affairs, and it was important to them that we captured this couple as they are...fun, passionate and real! As they were leaving, they felt like our own family...and that bond only strengthened as we shot their engagement session months later and then their wedding this past May.
