A few weeks ago, you might remember that Grant and I traveled to New York City for a couple of engagement sessions. We decided to do things a bit differently, and traveled by train with Luke and Amy, leaving Newport News at 8 am sharp. After Two magazines, 1 book, a bag of muffins, and a couple of rowdy games of Scrabble, we found ourselves at Penn Station. The sounds, smells and whirl of a city that never stops was familiar once again. I daydreamed of lounging at a cafe table in Times Square...gathering my thoughts over an enormous Black and White Cookie...but there were apps to download, maps to read, luggage to lug, and subways to navigate!
While Grant and Luke
argued discussed which of the 1,037 different N or Q subway trains we could take to our first destination, Amy and I perfected our eye rolling techniques...and after a train or two, we finally ended up downtown, for food, fun...and oh yes, some awesome-tastic photos!
I'm not gonna lie...it may be safe to assume that our time with
Katie + Dave, and Amy + Luke was more fun than photographers should be allowed to have...but we did manage to take a few pictures and document these couples in love! <3
