In the world of dating, you know you've jumped the big hurdle when you're brought home to meet the parents. Add in the siblings, and Grandma...and you've got the potential for a fabulous relationship or a giant stress ball tying knots in your stomach. This is eactly how we felt the day we met Nicole + Jon. They're not from around these parts, so while they were all in town making wedding plans, it seemed only natural that they bring everyone along to our appointment. Mom, Dad, Dad-in-Law, sisters and yes, Grandma. And you know that giant stress ball? There was NO SUCH THING! 

We laughed, told stories, and listened as Nicole, Jon and Company gave us a glimpse into their awesomely loud world of love and family. As wedding photographers, these glimpses are important too, because that's where the first telling of their wedding story begins. 

And when it was time to go home, not only had we gained an entire room of friends, but we knew the minute Grandma hugged us, we were in like Flynn. ;)

Nicole + Jon, how adorable are you!! You're ability to relax and laugh through your session made it such an enjoyable evening. Can't wait to celebrate next year in Cape Charles! ;)
