They left our studio the first time we met...we waved goodbye, closed the door and promptly 'air' high-fived. Ginger and Deuene hadn't even booked with us, but we clicked! It wasn't one particular thing either...but more a compilation of several little things. The way Ginger glanced coyly in Deuene's direction, touching his knee at times to punctuate her thought or the sly grin that caught her in mid-giggle. Ginger had put great time into the research of wedding photographers, yet completely deferred to her fiancé and wanted his wisdom and input when it came to meeting us, and making the final decision. We found ourselves laughing, telling stories, and not wanting the evening to end.
Then at their engagement session...they brought that same coy glance, sly grin, and loving touch. Each time Deuene pulled Ginger close, she sparkled...and we loved them even more. The ability to become lost in each other, while standing in front of a glaring camera, is tough...but when it happens, it's real, it's beautiful, and it's authentic. Enjoy!
