Our goal every wedding is to show up as friends; only this wedding we felt like family.
Jenny found us very early in her wedding planning… eighteen months to be eact and not only did we utilize the phone, texting, email and facebook, it became the foundation of our relationship since she lived out of state.
Oh every now and then she would breeze into town over the past year, for more planning…and each time we’d chat and she'd tell me more things she accomplished or added to her list. I’m not sure who was more excited the day of her wedding, Jenny or her family and friends. People who had watched her relationship to Gannett grow ever since High School! And the whole big bunch of them celebrated in style, with love and laughter and dancing…ah yes, Gannett loves the dance floor. ;)
Jenny and Gannett, we don’t have words adequate enough to express how much we enjoyed capturing such a precious time in your lives. We know you’re soaking up the sun and the rum in the Carribean, so here’s a few more images to add to the sneek peek we posted the other day. Hope you’re dancing barefoot! ;)
And the day would not have been as smooth without the help of awesome vendors:
Ceremony: St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church
Reception: Bay Breeze Community Center, Fort Monroe
Hair & Makeup: Natasha Fairbanks of Salon Vivace Newport News
Florist: Bert's Flower Shop
Entertainment: Luke Barton of Arch Entertainment

Jenny said NO PLANES at the wedding. So what did the guys do? Go to the Air & Space Museum for a photo op. (All but one of these groomsmen are pilots)

Dad reading his Jenny a poem and sharing a heart to wear down the aisle.

Bob was all about surprising his girls with jewelry. Here Debbie is showing off the anniversary bling Bob surprised her with just the day before! What a guy!

love all the details...it transformed the room.

These girls brought the FUN!

It was literally freezing outside, but Mother Nature was no match for these two lovebirds.

Jenny put together a slideshow...they have such a history together.

And, our bestest DJ buddie, Luke Barton of Arch Entertainment ROCKED the floor all night! BOOM!
