You know you're gonna need to be on your absolute best behavior (difficult for me) when your couple is made up of a pharmacist and a law enforcement officer who shows up for their Engagement Session cowboy style - proudly sporting his 9mm handgun on his side.  And to make matters even more interesting, their selection for our session was a remote, distant old far-out-in-the-middle-of-the-country kind of location.

But I also digg couples who are in love and who are real; those two combinations together make my lens happy (and heart too).  Stefanie and Jason are that couple and they are really in love.

Even though we had to keep the car running just keep warm in between shots, and even though we were chasing the sun, these two had absolutely no problem making this location with its old barns, cars, and fences their own.  We had a blast, and it shows.

And oh yeah, the gun came in handy when it became obvious that Jason would need to arrest Stefanie for her failure to pay enough attention to him. He frisked her on the spot for insubordination.
