By the time a student is in their Senior year of school, they are so over homework it's not funny. In fact, it's totally Homework's fault for things like Senior-Itis, Senior-Skip-Day and a host of other diseases plaguing perfectly good Seniors these days. ;) Therefore, when a Senior and their mom, go above and beyond what we ask to choose a great location they get a zillion gold stars.
"You get one shot at this, so let's do it right!". That was Tamera's motto, as she helped her daughter plan for her Lifestyle Portrait Session. How awesome!
And speaking of plans, Sara and her mom scouted out a couple of locations prior to us meeting up at
Norfolk's Botanical Gardens. They took pictures and toured around each place to get a feel for what Sara might want in her portraits. So when I say they came prepared...I'm not kidding. And as you will see from just a few of our favs that Sara ROCKED her session! Sara attends Currituck County High and while this is the first Senior we've photographed from this school, we sure hope it's not the last.

Tamera's probably going to kill me for putting this in here, but I loved that she let us take a quick photo of the two of them at the very end. Such a great feel to this shot.
