Baby Portrait | Newborn

race. What a precious name. It orginates from the Latin word 'gratia' meaning charm. How lovely... and that's eactly the effect this sweet little girl had over me from the moment I held her. Grace was much more alert than your average 6 day old, so we waited and fed and waited and fed...all while she had her own ideas of what a newborn photo session should be like. After all, no one told her that newborns are supposed to sleep...no, not Grace...she had coos to conjure, smiles to perform and her people to charm! And I was happy to be one of her 'people' yesterday. She did finally settle and drift off to sleep... for a whole 15 minutes! I think her parents are in for a wild ride! ;)
