Carol called us a while back about a Family Lifestyle Session. They were flying in to Hampton Roads during Thanksgiving Break to visit her mom and she wanted us to photograph her family at one of our most favorite locations in Hampton, the recently renovated Chamberlin. Carol's mom is a resident in this magnificent, historic place and we jumped at the chance to photograph there again. When we arrived a fierce storm was brewing, so even though the grounds around the hotel are lovely, we were confined indoors for what we thought was the whole session. BUT, by the end of our time together the clouds had parted and we were able to catch a few shots on the top balcony, overlooking Historic Fort Monroe just as the sun was setting.
Carol's mom gets to watch large ships entering and exiting the James River each day! What an amazing place to retire. And we had such a great time together, by the end of our session... I was hoping to be adopted. ;)
