Every now and then we get the chance to do portrait sessions for girls and guys that are aspiring models. Since we're primarily wedding photographers...it's so much fun to mix things up and photograph one person for a change. Models, in particular, are one of my favorites since they really like to get creative and are often open to anything we suggest. In addition to teaching us a few of her poses, Rachel learned throughout our shoot that it's 'all about the light' as we traipsed around Williamsburg with her Mom last weekend (clothes and shoes in tow) looking for that gorgeous, buttery light that would make her cute figure pop right off the page.
