We knew it was going to be an amazing wedding day for Kelly & Brad when we first toured Cumberland Plantation earlier this year. They've worked diligently to revitalize the already beautiful property as a first-class venue for weddings and events, and we can't wait to show you what we discovered then.
We first met Kelly & Brad face-to-face at their Engagement Session and immediately connected with them. And not just because they are adorable (they are), or fun (they are), but it's because they're just so comfortable with each other and with us AND... they LOVE dogs just like we do.
So when we got together again it was at Cumberland on the day of their wedding. We couldn't wait to capture their day with so many special touches. Like a First Look that included Brad walking up the large steps to the front door of the plantation house, knocking and anxiously waiting to have his bride wearing her beautiful wedding dress (from Kleinfelds in NYC) open the door to greet him. Or Brad seeing his bride slowly stroll up the long outstretched crushed stone lane leading into the plantation house in a magnificent horse-drawn carriage. Or a live band brought in all the way from Nashville, TN just because they both heard them playing when out of town and fell in love with them.
All day (and night) long there were just so many special touches, but we're going to let you see them in their wedding images below. But just understand this, even though there are well over 60 images that follow, there are 200 times that amount more of beautiful story-telling images we just don't have space or bandwidth to share; you're just going to have to trust us that this venue and this couple together make an amazing and gorgeous story together.
