Drew gets the prize for driving the farthest for one of our sessions. Ok, so he didn't really drive himself. Grant's cousins, otherwise known as Andrew's parents, came along for the ride as well. OK!!!! so Brian, the Dad, drove the the whole way...but you get the point! ;) The distance between Virginia and New York has kept us apart, barring the occasional wedding and family get-togethers....but each year Tami and I would sigh and talk about how they soooooo needed to come to Virginia. They are the type of family you want to be around...to have your kids grow up with...but we had to settle for blogs and Facebook to keep in touch.
Imagine my surprise the day Facebook told me that my Inbox had a message, and it was Tami asking me if we would consider shooting Drew's Senior Photos!!! Are you kidding Me??? It took a little coordinating of schedules but they managed a trip before school was back in session and we had a blast. Drew had no idea what to expect... He came with a few changes of clothes, a great attitude and an open mind. As a result...his session ROCKED!

I wanted to make sure this session was all about Drew...but how could i resist the feet of the rents...looking on ever so patiently...?

I adore these next two beach shots Grant took... and got totally soaked as the tide kept crashing in.

Since we were getting near the end of the session, Tami wanted to make sure that some of Drew's passion came out as we wanted to capture all sides of his personality. So at her request, he sang one of the songs he wrote and it was completely awesome how his face began to relax and he was completely uninhibited. love that!
