This continues the fabulous wedding of Amanda and Jeremy! Once the ceremony and formals inside the church were done, we took the whole party outside to shoot some of their wedding photos against the gorgeous backdrop of the historic Central Baptist Church in Downtown Ghent. You can imagine how much of a spectacle we were, moving such a large group near the street and sidewalks. Shortly before finishing, I noticed everyone laughing in front of me....even Grant. While I was shooting the wedding party in laughter, Grant caught the object of their amusement. A trucker, waiting at the traffic light, taking a picture of US with a point-and-shoot! I couldn't resist including this in their storyboard, since it so beautifully captured a candid moment in their day!
Soon afterward, we joined their guests at the
Harrison Opera House where the real party started. We adore couples that make it a priority to have spectacular venues, arrange it around the time of day we'll be shooting and allow themselves to be bathed in a sea of natural light. This is the type of view we had overlooking the sunset with floor to ceiling windows, it was breathtaking. We were even surprised to find that the manager of the Opera House even allowed us a few uninterrupted minutes to shoot backstage! All in all, it was an amazing wedding that we truly felt privileged to witness!
