I think any couple choosing Westover Plantation for their wedding is starting at a 10. So when Heather & Dan shared with us they were getting married at Westover, and that amazing wedding images were at the top of their list of "must haves", we immediately had a crush on their wedding.
Now imagine you've waited all year, planning, looking forward to and excited about your day and it happens; rain! Not just rain, but angry rain, the kind that blows into everything and every crevasse. THAT was what Heather had for her big day.
But it didn't seem to bum her out at all. In fact, she was kinda like "no stinkin' rain gonna keep me from being happy!" So her reward? As we were capturing their First Look (inside - NOT in the garden as planned) it happened; the rain stopped. I looked at her - and before I could say it she said "let's go outside!"
So we did, in the soaked, wet grass, we had 10 minutes of zero rain. And in that 10 minutes, we captured some amazing images (you'll see below). And for the rest of the day, rain fell and happiness triumphed!
Heather & Dan, we had such an amazing time with you guys. We are so flattered you trusted us with such an amazing task. Hopefully you're in love as much as we are with what we captured.
