We love, LOVE it when couples progress their relationships with us from one session to the next; I'll explain.

Chris contacted us a ​couple months ago from Tennessee because he was coming to Williamsburg (Edgewood Plantation) to propose to his fiancée Michéle and wanted us to "stealth capture" the proposal. Are you KIDDING? We couldn't wait.

A week later I was hiding behind bushes (there's a word picture) capturing Chris as he knelt on a knee and asked Michéle to be his wife. She, of course, said yes and we got it; and a lot more.

When they got their images back they were ​sincerely happy; and then we got the phone call.​ They wanted to discuss us ​capturing their intimate back-yard wedding in 2 weeks. Um are you kidding? Of course we would... and we couldn't wait.

I think it's a special kind of trust that progresses from one session to the next. And it's eactly why we love all our couples to have an Engagement Session with us prior to their wedding day. As a couples begins to trust us, they get comfortable, their guard drops, the walls come down and they simply relax. And relaxed photos are the best photos of all. 

Michéle & Chris' intimate  family wedding took place in Williamsburg at ​a private home in the most quaint ​wooded backyard we have ever seen.  The ​details inside and out ​of this property were so beautifully decorated we wanted to stay forever!
