I love my job! I get the privilege of shooting in the most gorgeous locations, and my trip to Jordan's Senior Session was truly breathtaking as I traveled the winding roads leading to his home on a picturesque Fall day. Now Jordan wasn't too enthused with the idea of having my camera poised on his every move, but he was a jewel and knew it was best to make his Mom happy. ;-) Hey, that's just how most boys are ... I should know, I'm the mother of two of them.
So, to start our session off, I took a deep breath, relaxed and just started asking questions. We had some great discussions too while he, his Mom and I trekked to some of his favorite spots growing up. Jordan even brought along his favorite companion, D'artagnan (named after the 4th Musketeer), his 15 year old Colley. While we walked, Jordan told me one story of how growing up, D'artagnan aways walked him to the bus stop. One day they discovered that the dog wasn't coming back home right away. True to his friendly Colley nature, he would wander by various construction sites of homes being built around them. Apparently, each visit produced all sorts of treats, so he had developed his very own fan club of construction workers. ;-) I thought it was so fitting when Jordan's mom, Kim, told me she wanted to include the dog into her son's photos. That is the beauty of scheduling an on-location Senior Session ... you can truly make them unique and all your own. I love that!
Jordan, I had so much fun editing your photos. I hope you and your family love these images, and best wishes on a memorable Senior Year at Bruton High! ;-) Here are a few of my favs!
