I love surprises...especially when I get to be 'in' on them. The Big Kids of the Shepherd and Wallace Family contacted us a while back in secret to plan a surprise photo session for their entire family to celebrate their parent's 40th anniversary. They were all going to be in town last weekend and wanted a casual session somewhere fun. They managed to keep it all a surprise down to the last minute Grant and I walked up to meet them at Yorktown beach. And talk about a fun session! These guys wandered all over that beach and around the town and ofcourse we had a blast capturing each of their unique personalities. They were one of those families that we were immediately comfortable around and were so welcoming. This made for super relaxed images and the ability to capture them just as they are.
