We first met Kara & Bo at our studio as we discussed their fab wedding plans. But it was well after the Moscato, cupcakes and fun planning that we happened to glance over at the small duffle bag Bo carried in, that we saw two little eyes and a wet-nosed doggie peering out at us. It was right then we had the opportunity to meet Franklin, Kara & Bo's Yorkie. And it was probably right then that Deb & I knew we really loved the idea of working with them; they were dog lovers too!
From that point, to their sick
Brooklyn Engagement Session (sans-Franklin) to the day they trusted us to capture their love story (with Franklin) to this very day, we knew a friendship was starthing that would go well beyond their wedding day.
Both Kara & Bo work in the local event industry so we knew their wedding would be off-the-hook; it was. From Bo's suit and purple suede shoes (custom made in Brooklyn), Kara's Christian Louboutins, the decadent food (including lobster mac-n-cheese and dulce de leche gelato) in a club-like atmosphere with a FULL band & DJ, to the luxury setting in Virginia Beach's Oceanaire Resort; the details they put into planning their day was paramount. Their main goal was a night of fabulous and fun for their family and friends!
So, as you'll see, with the small sample of images that follow, we had a blast capturing this wonderfully planned event!
