As Emily slipped the golden band on Joe's finger, not a dry eye existed in the place. Beautiful, happy tears dropped to his lapel as her beloved adjusted his Dad's ring, and remembered the Father he had cherished and lost. Grant often tells our couples, "You'll cry happy tears when you see your photos," but he doesn't mention that quite often we, as photographers, find ourselves choked up as the gravity of an important moment grips our hearts...moments that will forever bind our couples together in laughter, love and yes, even tears.
It was a complete joy to capture this day in Virginia Beach for Emily and Joe. We witnessed the laughter, love and yes, happy tears as family and friends traveled from all over the United States to celebrate, feast, dance, and remember this glorious occasion of love.
