When we first met with Allie & Michael, Allie was in our studio, but Michael was an ocean and 3,500 miles away talking with us over Skype all the way from Scotland. But even though he wasn't present, it was clear he was a perfect fit for Allie.
So when we finally did get to meet him at their
Engagement Session (here), our suspicion was true; they were perfect together.
On their wedding day, they both got ready at the wonderful Linden Row Inn in historic downtown Richmond (we fell in love with that place). And I gotta say, it's not normal for me to shoot a dress in the Groom's room, but, as you can see, Michael wore his Scottish tartan Kilt and complete authentic Scottish attire for the (hot) day. It made for a perfect opportunity for fab pictures for sure.
But the real beauty began once Allie, in her amazing dress from Williamsburg Bridal started down the aisle with her Dad at the
Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in downtown Richmond. As I snapped pics of them walking slowly to the front, I turned and could see the look on Michael's face; his soon-to-be wife put a smile on his face.
We had a blast being part of this day with you two; thank you for your trust.
